Our Story
YOUNG ME atelier is a handcrafted jewellery label founded in 2018.
Our jewellery is inspired by Korean letters called ‘한글 hangul’ ,simple modern geometric forms, nature, art, embroidery and design.
We make simple but unique, wearable pieces for everyone.
All our jewellery is lovingly handmade in London by the creator Young Me.
It is important for us to preserve our environment. We only use eco friendly materials such as wood , cotton, yarn, leather , natural fabrics.
We pride ourselves in delivering outstanding customer service and see our jewellery as a collaboration between us, the designer and you the customer.
About Creator Young Me
Born in South Korea,Young Me has worked as a fashion designer in South Korea in her home country before moving to Paris to learn French embroidery and work as a wedding dress maker. Since 2011, Young Me lives in London with her husband and two sons.
During her career as a fashion designer, she has always had a strong interest in jewellery.In 2018, Young Me decided to finally explore her passion of jewellery and created YOUNG ME Atelier.
The name ‘YOUNG ME Atelier’ is a combination of the creator’s name -meaning ‘inner beauty’ in Korean-with a French touch inherited by her years of experience in the French fashion industry.
Bringing up to the surface each and everyone’s inner beauty is the mission Young Me has set herself.
She loves to create simple but unique design that makes people happy wearing her jewellery.
Young Me loves her culture and is proud of her origin. That’s why she decided to incorporate Korean letters in her jewellery design.
She believes that loving yourself is the first step to loving others, and aims to transmit a message of intercultural love and acceptance .
